Tools of the trade
The first thing you should do is to find these items that will be used:
PRR Depot Type B-4 Page 3 under scenery on USLW. (Must be registered)
Platform Low Asphalt 2 and 3 Pages 10 and 11 under trackside on USLW. (Must be registered)
ClerGA Trackside Object On DLS.
Rulers in surveyor will be used also. You can also use the PRR type B-2 depot also if you would like to use a smaller building.

After getting your supplies...
Go to your desired route in surveyor that you would like to add a depot to. When you find a piece of track that you would like to place a station next to, place the ClerGA Trackside Object (in track under trackside objects) on the track where your station will go. This tool saves you a lot of trouble in the long run.
What happens after that?
Once you have placed the ClerGA Trackside Object, go into splines under objects and look for "Platform Low Asphalt 2". Place it any length you want with the white stripe on the platform going towards the tracks. I placed one at 421.5 feet.
You can add the platforms that the station will be standing on wherever you want to. Using "Platform Low Asphalt 3", place 2 of them side-by-side next to the first platform you have already placed. I placed 2 platforms side-by-side that are 135 feet long and also placed at 58 feet from one end and 234.2 feet from the other. Make sure that all platforms you place are the same height. After you do that, raise the station to 0.35 feet above the ground and center it on the 2 platforms you placed earlier.
The final product...
If you use the measurements I used in this tutorial, this is what the final depot will look like:
You can also use "Platform Low Asphalt 1" if you want an older looking style of platform. Other then that, you can add details to your station by adding trees, people, fences, a parking lot, etc. Give it a go yourself and see what you can make!
